C.R.A.C. – Free Italian Language Course in Palermo to Break Down Language and Cultural Barriers
The C.R.A.C. project – Consume Responsibly and Break Down Boundaries, promoted by ADOC in partnership with ADA, UNIAT, and various local associations, launches a free literacy initiative in Palermo aimed at foreign residents.
📍 Where and When
The course will take place at the Dopolavoro Ferroviario on Via A. Pecoraro 2 (next to Notarbartolo Station) on September 25 and October 2, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
🎯 Objectives
The training program aims to:
- Provide the basics of the Italian language to facilitate daily communication;
- Promote social inclusion for foreign residents;
- Strengthen community ties by breaking down linguistic and cultural barriers.
📚 Program
The course will be structured in four modules:
- Introduction to the Italian Language: alphabet, pronunciation, greetings, numbers, and dates;
- Basic Grammar: articles, adjectives, present tense verbs, pronouns;
- Vocabulary and Everyday Conversation: family, home, food, leisure activities;
- Real-Life Simulations: practical interactions at the bank, doctor’s office, and public offices.
